| Leading the Lost to New Life in Christ Marie Strong Chapel Ministry
"...I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." Matthew 25:36b (NIV)

Many people are in need of help in today’s world due to alcohol and drug addictions, borderline mental illness, or transition from prison to society. Some families are at the end of their rope with addicted loved ones; where do they turn? Prisons and mental institutions are over-crowded and people are released unexpectedly; where do they go?
We know that Jesus is the only answer that gives people life changing results. Our chapel services throughout the week are designed to offer our residents direction and structure. Our goal is to tell everyone who comes through our doors about the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that they will receive Him as their Lord and Savior.

Our chapel is located at the corner of 7th and Main Street. Our church service is open to the public every Saturday evening. Through the week we hold a variety of devotional and church services for the men who reside at the Christian Center.
Dr. Marie Strong, Professor of Bible & Religion at Anderson College (1946 to 1978), was a great encouragement to our founder Rev. Lloyd Lambert. Dr. Strong provided invaluable encouragement and support in the early formation of the Mission. Our chapel is named in her memory.
Your Help is Needed!
"When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'" Matthew 25:39-40 (NIV)
Our Current Chapel Needs
Your time – consider leading devotions once a week at 11:00AM.
Your prayers – consider taking some time to lift in prayer all the residents, staff, board members and people from our community who cross through our doors.
Your talent – maybe you are in a specialized field and could teach a class in that field to our residents.
